The Kitchen

We have a few quotes and we're trying to decide. Right now it's between a city guy who's a real designer using Decor cabinets, or a hometown carpenter from Dawn's home town who builds his own.

So here's something we're thinking of doing. Adding an island in the middle and a narrow, 14" pantry against the open wall. The green tape on the floor shows where things would go. We also moved our table into the middle to make it look like the island would be. The island would be an eating counter on one side, and drawers and a cabinet for my Kitchen Aid mixer on the other.

And here one with a few notes on it.

We're thinking of doing white shaker-style with silver pulls and a black counter made of Silestone, Silestone web site called Ebony Pearl, which you can see here.

Looks like this Ikea kitchen, but a black counter.

The dishwasher's new home...

Time to put things back!

Putting items back will be hard to do, especially with the fridge in the spot the dishwasher was and the loss of the cabinet where the dishwasher is now!
